Mazeppa Bay is one of the most notable fishing spots on the Wild Coast. Within easy walking distance of the broad and spectacular Qora River estuary, anglers can choose lagoon, river or rock fishing. Due to the steep continental shelf, Mazeppa Bay has much appeal for the game and shark fisherman. Fresh bait for sale in the bar.

Hiking and walking are popular pastimes – Kob Inn is a mere 6 km hike from the hotel and the Cebe nature reserve a 17 km hike. There are numerous trails to choose from – all fringed with ancient trees and a wonderful variety of flowering shrubs, plants, tropical flowers and exotic birdlife.  The peace can be quite eerie at times, especially for city folk not used to the silence!

The more energetic can try sand boarding on the giant dunes, mountain biking, canoeing or enjoy games of beach volleyball or tennis. The trampoline and kiddies playground, nanny supervision available on request, will ensure the little ones are also catered for.
